San Matías Gulf Workshop, “A sea of resources at a hand´s reach” Within the activities of the project, on July 28th, 2006 a workshop was carried out at Las Grutas, province of Río Negro, about the sustainable uses of the San Matías Gulf. The workshop count with the attendance of representatives from all sectors: government, media, tourism, hotels & restaurants, environmental, fishing and education, among others. In the meeting, ideas, strategies and actions were presented, related to the main economic activities under the frame of a regional integrative approach, that includes the presentation of the San Matías Gulf Rpoject in its amplied version. Also, a multi-sector work space was generated, tending to build a common vision for the gulf from the identification of desired scenarios.
